Park City Ski Resort

Some things are certain in life. It’s certain that we all will die some day. It’s also certain that when you pull alongside another car, you’re certain to see some guy with his arm wrist deep in his nose. It’s also certain that if you want great skiing, great snow and great fun, Park City, Utah is the place to be.  Although the town is quaint with a old mining history, it’s loaded with three major ski  resorts that will get so deep into your senses that you will come back again and again and again.

The Wasatch Mountains, a beholding site on it’s own, beckons visitors to come and taste of the great powder covering it’s slopes.  Main Street is in itself a main attraction.  Hundreds of restaurants with creative cuisines line the streets.  Mixed in among these eateries are countless shops, boutiques and cafes that will keep you off the slopes if you’re not careful.  The alpine environment is surrounded by magnificent landscapes.  Hundreds of trails weave throughout the mountainside creating a ski haven during winter months and a hiker’s dream in the warmer months.  Perfectly planned, Park City is the hub of life and activity.  Everything else is an extension of enterprising entertainment.

Park City Mountain Resort is one of those spokes. The resort encompasses seven glorious pinnacles of winter wonder and nine bowls of bliss.  3,300 acres of ski terrain is enough to dazzle any skier of any level of ability. A question to ask yourself is, “What kind of skier am I?” Try the NASTAR course to help you answer that question.  Time and speed can be recorded so that you can compare yourself to others of the same ability.  If your ego is big, take on the challenge.  I dare you.  Whatever skiing ability you possess, the perfect run for you is waiting on these slopes.  Runs are perfectly groomed to ensure great skiing.

Deer Valley Resort is where royalty comes to play. Luxurious accommodations with an equally luxurious atmosphere are what make Deer Valley a step above.  Great effort was instituted to lie out the resort to stay clear of ski mobs.  Less crowded runs make the slopes more tranquil and soothing.  Olympic skiers can feel just as much at home as the beginner.  This Park City resort was rated #1 ski resort in North America.  Not bad for a bunch of hicks.  Are you good enough to enjoy the fun?

Not to far is the Canyons Resort.  Many say it’s the perfect ski and snowboard vacation.  All that you’ll ever need to make your visit enjoyable is at this facility.  163 trails on 3,700 acres of terrain are to die for.  17 lifts will service your every need.  Two fantastic terrain parks are at your disposal.  If you’re not sure on ability or want to improve, 225 world-class instructors will make you better.

Park City, Utah, three words that will bring you ski bliss.
